Mr Braithwaite established Veincare in 2004 to provide people suffering from varicose veins with the best and latest minimally invasive treatments provided by a highly qualified team with specialist expertise.

His qualifications include Master of Surgery, Master of Arts, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, and Fellowship in General Surgery.
Mr Braithwaite has been awarded Scholarships to research and improve patient care by the Royal College Of Surgeons of England and the American College of Surgeons.
Mr Braithwaite has been given a National Clinical Award by the NHS for the services and research he has provided. He and his team have won awards from the Vascular Surgical Society of Great Britain and Ireland and the Royal Society of Medicine, Venous Forum.
As a pioneer of research into varicose vein treatment, Mr Braithwaite led the team that introduced the Olympus RFiTT keyhole technique. His studies into varicose veins are some of the most widely referenced in the world and, according to researchgate, he is in the top 5% of researchers worldwide.
